Inchway Privacy Policy

Inchway is a planner for adults with ADHD and ADHD traits, made by ForgeOps LABS. It turns a spoken or typed brain dump into tiny first steps.

ForgeOps LABS does not collect data from the app. There is no account, no server, and no analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDK.

Inchway is a planning tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice.

Data Inchway Handles

• Tasks, steps, routines, repeats, and brain dump text you enter or dictate.
• Focus timer sessions, energy check-ins, and evening reset counts.
• Calendar events on your device, read only after you allow access.
• Open Apple Reminders, read once when you start an import.
• Local preferences, such as reminders, quiet hours, and the calendars you chose.

Where Your Data Stays

Your planner data is stored on your device. When iCloud is on, it syncs through your own private iCloud database, which ForgeOps LABS cannot read. It is end-to-end encrypted when you turn on Advanced Data Protection.

Calendar events are shown in Today and are never saved, synced, or sent.

Reminders you import are read once. They are never changed, and each one is kept only if you save its card.

Speech and AI

Dictation is turned into text on your device by Apple's speech framework. Audio is never saved or sent.

Brain dumps are understood by Apple's on-device model. On devices without it, the text of a brain dump is sent to Apple's Private Cloud Compute to be split into tasks, and is not kept. Only the text is sent. You can turn AI off and write steps yourself.

Features You Turn On

• Add timed tasks to my calendar: off by default. When on, timed task titles and times are written to a calendar named Inchway on your device, and your calendar account, such as Google or Microsoft, may sync them. Turning it off removes those events.
• Apple Watch: with Pro, the task title, step text, and timer go to your paired watch.
• Export my data: creates a file of your tasks that you choose where to save.

Purchases

Purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. ForgeOps LABS receives Apple's usual sales reports and no payment details. The app stores only whether you have Pro, on your device.

Your Controls

• Use Inchway without an account.
• Allow or remove calendar, Reminders, microphone, speech, and notification access in iOS Settings.
• Turn iCloud on or off for Inchway in iOS Settings.
• Export your tasks from Settings.
• Delete the app to remove your data from that device. Data in your private iCloud can be removed in iOS Settings.

Support Email

If you email support, we receive your address and whatever you include, and use them only to answer you. Please avoid sending task text unless you choose to share it.

Children

Inchway is made for adults and is not directed at children.

Changes to This Policy

This policy will be updated whenever Inchway's data practices change, and the date on this page will change with it.
